We  also import quality Cypriot Pitta bread and process re-fresh exotic fish species from approved quality continental sources which are distributed overnight to all UK markets and towns. Our History

• 1981
  Company founded with a 2000 sq. feet sausage factory in Erdington, Birmingham selling to fish and chip shops, fast food outlets & restaurants in the Midlands area. Using a traditional recipe, the product became well known for its flavor and suitability for use.
• 1988
  Demand had grown impressively and Tasty Bake moved to newer premises in Garretts Green, Birmingham. Production area increased to 10,000 sq. feet and for the first time ‘Spiral Freezer’ technology was incorporated which significantly advanced the company in the production of IQF sausages.
• 1993
  Continued growth necessitated a further move to larger premises in the Birmingham area. This time , a purpose built factory of 25000 sq. feet was erected to EU standards in Saltley, Birmingham incorporating ‘leading edge’ technology in equipment and also eventually resulting in ISO 9001, I.A.B and ‘EFSIS’ accreditation.
• 1994
  Recognising the growth of the global economy, Tasty Bake commenced importing exotic fish species from all continents of the world and distributing them to all UK Fish markets and towns. The operation was so successful that it produced many imitators.
• 2003
  Tasty Bake purchased and developed a freehold site in Aston, Birmingham which incorporates an additional 10,000 sq. feet cold storage and fish processing facilities, 2000 sq.feet of offices plus 10,000 sq. feet of lorry park with approval for expansion.
• 2004
  With the enlargement of its international activities - due to the increasing connection withoverseas suppliers of exotic fish – Tasty Bake incorporated an Export Sales Division offering products such as beefburgers, chicken portions, spring rolls, kebabs and sauces as well as sausages, saveloys and seafood to all EU countries.
• 2008
  Recognising the fall in supply and demand for Exotic fish Tasty Bake Added a new line of Added Value IQF fish portions, We have a responsible policy on all fish we procure we follow the guidelines as set by seafish.org, to carefully source suppliers with similar ethical practices. Our value added products offer a variety of exotic and indigenous species. We offer traditional and modern marinades and toppings. using sustainable and responsibly fished products Tasty Bake Ltd fish division has a new range of value added fish steaks either frozen or fresh, all ingredients used in our process are free from artificial colours and flavourings and preservatives, the emphasis is on quality and cost effectiveness.
• 2009
  Never to sit still Tasty Bake Limited diversified into Pitta Bread. Our Aston Factory in the shadows of the former HP plant has been fitted to EU standards incorporating ‘leading edge’ technology and a purpose built Pitta equipment line, producing consistent high quality Cyprus style Pitta bread, the traditional Cyprus recipe is a guarded family secret which produces exceptional quality authentic Pitta.
